Petite Opal Ring
Gold Filled
3 mm Ethiopian Fire Opal
Opals are natural stones and will vary in color.
PLEASE NOTE:
Ethiopian opals are “hydrophane,” which means they are thirsty for water. If the opal comes into contact with water (even moisture in the air), it will absorb it like a sponge. If opals are left in or submerged in water, they may temporarily lose their fire and turn clear, yellow, or brown.
The opal will return to its original color when dried, however, if the liquid or water it comes into contact with contains other chemical or substances, your opal may not be able to regain its original beauty.
TIP: Put your opal jewelry in a container of uncooked rice to speed up the drying process.
